Arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru, situated on the Pacific Coast. Transfer to the hotel, and spend the rest of the day exploring the city's colonial streets and magical plazas at your leisure. Overnight stay in Lima.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, enjoy an informative and interesting city tour of Lima, including its Historic Centre and the Santo Domingo Convent. Start by exploring the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro before heading to the Historic Center. Visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo and walk to the Plaza de Armas to admire the exquisite colonial architecture that surrounds it. Next, enjoy a visit to the Chocolate Museum to learn about the high-quality of Peruvian cocoa, and on the way back, stop in the Parque del Amor, from where you can take beautiful photos of the Peruvian coastline. Overnight stay in Lima.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight to Cuzco. Arrive in Cuzco, the former Inca capital, and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, exploring the lively immaculate scenery of this iconic region. Overnight stay in Sacred Valley.

* Optional Essense of the Sacred Valley Excursion: Visit Chinchero and the PARWA Centre, to appreciate the colourful traditional textiles. Next, visit the church of Chinchero before heading to the Mirador de Racchi panoramic viewpoint for a fantastic view across the valley. Explore Ollantaytambo and its Inca fortress and visit the impressive Moray archaeological site. Price per person: CA$73.
Breakfast at the hotel. An exciting day at Macchu Picchu awaits you this morning as you set off for the train station to board the Voyager Train to Aguas Calientes,* admiring the landscape along the way. Arrive and transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Machu Picchu, a true wonder of the world. Spend some time discovering the ruins and being amazed by the terraces and enjoying a tour of the different sections of the site. Return to Aguas Calientes and check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Aguas Calientes.

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a day at your leisure in Cuzco, exploring the lively plazas of the historic city or perhaps visiting some of the numerous museums and cultural institutions. * Optional Full Day Excursion to the Rainbow Mountain of Palccoyo: Leave Cuzco at dawn, heading towards the town of Palccoyo, a journey of approx. 3 hours. From here, ascend on foot through beautiful landscapes until reaching the impressive Rainbow Mountain. Partake in a traditional Andean ceremony and be amazed by the colorful mountainous surroundings. The maximum altitude is 4980 m and the hike can take up to 4 hours. Minimum 2 people. Does not operate January - March. Price per person: CA$152.

* Optional Half-Day Cuzco City Tour: Begin your tour in the Plaza de Armas, and visit the Cathedral. From here, walk to the Koricancha Temple, an impressive ancient Inca palace, in honour of the Sun God. Today, a Dominican church stands on the site. Finally, visit the lively San Blas neighbourhood, known for its artists, shops and artisan workshops. Price per person: CA$47.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a flight to Iquitos, the gateway to the Amazon. Arrive and transfer to the port to board your Full Board Amazon River Cruise Ship. Settle into your cabin as the ship begins its journey, heading into the Maranon River. We recommend observing the lush rainforest from the observation decks, where guides will share valuable insights about the environment and the river. In the afternoon, visit the Samiria Reserve, home to Charapas Turtles and later, enjoy an exciting wildlife spotting excursion. Back on the ship, enjoy an evening of traditional music. Night on board.
Full Board. This morning, explore the natural landscapes of Yanayacu de Pucate, located in the abundant Pacaya Samiria Natural Reserve. Look out for colorful blue and yellow macaws, toucans and several monkey species. If you are lucky you might spot the elusive pink river dolphins who inhabit the waters of the Amazon. Enjoy a canopy walk in the treetops to gain spectacular views of the wildlife and rainforest from above. In the afternoon, arrive at the village of San Regis to take part in a Shamanic Ceremony, and learn about the ancient secrets of the rainforest. Let your imagination be captivated by this unique spectacle before taking part in a tree planting ceremony. Back on board enjoy live music played by the ship's band and perhaps enjoy a boat ride through Nauta Creek to gaze upon the glistening black waters of the river at night. Night on board.
Full Board. Start the day cruising on the river San José de Zarapanga, using traditional fishing techniques to fish for piranhas. Next, visit the village of Kukama Prado, where you can learn about the ancient medical traditions of the Amazon with an informative presentation of traditional Amazonian medicinal remedies before taking part in a cooking demonstration to understand the local techniques used to make the most of the produce found in the rainforest. End the day with an atmospheric sunset cruise on the Amazon River, listening to the orchestra of wildlife around you and admiring the changing colors as the sun goes down. Night on board.
Breakfast on board. Disembark in the town of Nauta and enjoy a visit to a Manatee Rescue Centre where you can watch and feed this beautiful animal before continuing to Iquitos for a brief stop to explore the famous rubber boom houses of Fierro and Belen Market. Transfer to the airport in Iquitos for your return flight back to the Canada. Night on board.
